At Chateau Rex Mathias, we believe that special moments require the perfect setting. That's why we always rent our mansion exclusively - for the entire day, the entire mansion will belong only to you and your guests.
For perfect romance and magical photos, our private English park is also at your disposal. Due to its historical value and efforts to preserve its natural charm, we kindly ask you not to bring your own equipment into the park.
Any exterior structures, decorations or technical facilities in the park can be implemented after prior consultation and approval from us.
Chateau Interior
Ground Floor
As soon as you enter Chateau Rex Mathias, you will be greeted by our reception with dining room. It is a pleasant, cozy place where you will feel welcome from the very first moment and where you can enjoy, for example, a morning coffee or a festive breakfast together in peace.
The most beautiful part of the ground floor is the Orangery. This beautiful glass space is full of sunlight all day long. It offers a wonderful view of the greenery and thanks to the direct exit from it you can go straight to our historical park at any time. It is an ideal place to relax with a view of the trees and nature in any weather.
The orangery is extremely popular on the wedding day. It is perfect for a celebratory welcome drink for guests, an afternoon coffee and cake session (candy bar), or as a quieter lounge area during evening entertainment.
In case of inclement weather, it will also serve as the most beautiful romantic "Plan B" for the wedding ceremony - warm, but still with the feeling of being in the middle of a blooming park.
Chateau Interior
First Floor
The main central room on the first floor of the chateau is the magnificent Baroque Hall, which opens directly onto the magnificent portico. This iconic balcony, supported by antique columns and crowned by a historic pediment – a tympanum, is the embodiment of castle romance.
Imagine the moment when you stand before your guests with a glass of champagne in hand. A panoramic view of the lush greenery of a century-old English park spreads out before you, while water drops dance in the middle of it in a historic fountain. It is a place made for royal toasts, unique wedding photos and moments when time stands still.

A banquet in the middle of nature: Wedding under the stars
If you prefer to be in close contact with nature, your wedding reception can take place right in our English park. Surrounded by centuries-old trees, we will be happy to prepare a beautiful wedding tent for you upon mutual agreement. You will experience a perfect garden party with a unique atmosphere, where no walls will separate you from the greenery of the park and the starry sky.
Wedding ceremony
At Chateau Rex Mathias, you can say your "I do" exactly as you dreamed.
For a romantic outdoor ceremony, the ideal location is the area by our fountain in the middle of a green park.
If you prefer the interior, or are looking for the perfect option in case of inclement weather, the wonderful atmosphere offers presklená oranžéria s výhľadom na park.
In both spaces, we will be happy to prepare for you both a civil (valid) and a symbolic wedding ceremony.

Food is a celebration for us, which is why we cook exclusively from high-quality regional ingredients in our kitchen with great respect for the current season. For your wedding reception, you can choose from our excellent standard menu, or opt for an exceptional culinary experience. Thanks to our cooperation with top chefs, we will be happy to create a tailor-made menu for you - these masters of gastronomy will come to cook exclusively for you directly in our manor kitchen and turn your dinner into an unforgettable experience.
